ABOUT RENE LEE

Rene Lee is inspired by my parents, Rene and Eydie Lee Flores. After sitting down and learning more about their lives and hearing their stories, I felt a strong connection to their personal journeys. My dad's biggest fear was being forgotten and never mentioned again, while my mom wished she had continued her passion for making baby clothes. A passion that truly mattered to her, but ended up being the sacrifice she gave to give more time in raising both my brother and I. This struck a chord with me and gave deeper meaning to the name Rene Lee.

This name embodies a masculine strength and elegance, rooted in Puerto Rican heritage with an air of ambiguity and refinement. It also draws subtle influence from Japanese aesthetics, blending a sense of simplicity and timelessness that honors both cultures.

This is more than just a brand-it's a personal story. I create pieces that reflect the richness of the Latino world, merging my passion for clothing with an elevated touch and approach to Latino fashion. From bold graphic programs to refined, thoughtfully designed apparel, each piece is a celebration of culture and craft.
